Citing Yelp reviews, a new Buzzfeed article highlighted the best sandwich in each state, with a hotspot off I-95 out east taking the top honors in the Nutmeg State.
Press On Sandwich Crafters on Norwich Westerly Road in North Stonington was the pick in Connecticut with 89 reviewers giving the popular eatery a five out of five rating.
“After 32 years in the business and 25 years of marriage we decided to start a business to have more time together with the six kids and provide great food to the public,” owners Michael and Jody said.
They described the sandwich shop as “upscale, freshly prepared, grilled sandwiches, soups, and salads. All offerings made from scratch, including sauces and dressings. Locally sourced produce and artisan bread. Gluten-free offerings and vegan-friendly.”
